MADHOUSE MUSE
What could better embody the spirit of LA than art made from recycled billboards, functioning as public art, and seen by 35,000 commuters each day?
Every second Saturday of the month, curator Peter Schulberg unveils three new paintings on a billboard which sits atop his gallery, Eco-LogicalART.
The Madhouse Muse team stopped by for October’s opening, entitled “Taking It All Off for ART/3”. Another unique LA experience, Kogi, the Korean BBQ taco truck, was on hand to serve up their Twitter-famous tacos and burritos for the gallery guests. (They lived up to their reputation and did not disappoint.)
We had just enough time to have a brief peek inside, before we were invited out to the corner of Pico and Longwood for the grand unveiling of this month’s billboard.
